Cecilia Engquist


I am an experienced certified leadership coach and endurance athlete. A combination uniquely suited to partnering with leaders going beyond perceived limits and stepping into higher levels of performance characterized by courage, resilience, and mindset mastery. I combine 16 years of leadership coaching, utilization of research-based and practical methods, with first-hand experiences as an ultra-marathon runner and equestrian endurance racer in my endeavor to help clients gain insight that can be put into action and deliver sustainable results.

My clients are high-achieving professionals and executives motivated to develop the skills, resourcefulness, and mindsets to courageously navigate change, move through challenges, innovate, and achieve higher-level performance for the long run. Common client traits include a drive for excellence, an adventurous spirit, an open mind, and an action orientation.

I offer coaching, consulting, and training services for both leaders and teams from entrepreneurial firms to Fortune 50 companies, and particularly enjoy working with organizations who value sustainability , environmental and social consciousness, fitness, and well-being.

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Brené Brown Certified Dare To Lead™ Facilitator. I bring forward an innovative combination of techniques to serve my clients, including Inner Game theory, Positive Intelligence (PQ), the HeartMath Institute, body-centered coaching, positive psychology, equine facilitated coaching, and methods grounded in neuroscientific knowledge. I also serve as an instructor and mentor coach for an established coach training program, and am a long term proponent of the coaching profession, having contributed to its evolution through various leadership positions within the ICF community. I am currently serving on the ICF Independent Review Board for maintaining ethics within the coaching industry.

Assessments: The ALII Method designed to map a leader’s currently in-use leadership portfolio and target the appropriate shifts relevant to their current and future leadership roles through multi-rater, self-reports, EQ, and global factors.
